Rumours have been flying around the place Leopard has gone gold master and a final release candidate is near. Apple said that Leopard would come out in October that could mean any day now, so as you could expect rumours sites have been buzzing with speculated date but they all seem to average around the 24th – 28th of this month. Appleinsider and Thinksecret both have come out with the 26th if this is so I will be getting my MacBook Pro extremely soon this is great news for me.
I have waited so long for this and that means I can get started on a long list of software to test, so you will have a new weekly feature on my blog something like “software pick of the week” I still have to come up with a name. Leopard looks like it is starting the end (if that makes sense) because Apple are no longer doing updates separately they are doing them thought the built in updater and they are getting more often this could show a sign of maturity and only a few minor UI bugs remain most have been fixed.
Leopard is now available for pre order on Amazon. Leopard is also rumoured to be Apples last universal operating system, in 10.6 they are said to be cutting out Power PC support completely. What you do have to remember all this is rumour the only fact is Leopard will come out this month some time (I can feel the excitement).

I can’t wait – for you to get your machine – you’ve waited long enough!
The only qwuestion is – when should I update?
i would say to wait till January or December for all the bugs to be rid of.
