What I will be getting in my MacBook Pro is a question you may be asking yourselves, and this is what this blog post is all about. I know I say this too often but for all new readers you may not know that I am getting MacBook Pro as soon as Leopard comes out. I thought I would tell you the specs and what else I will be getting. Basically it is the top 15” model so what does that have.
- 15.4-inch display (not sure glossy or matte)
- 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo

- 5.4 pounds
- 8x double-layer-burning SuperDrive
- One FireWire 400
- One FireWire 800
- Two USB
- ExpressCard/34
- A 160GB hard drive
- Gigabit Ethernet
- NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT
- Built-in AirPort Extreme 802.11n
- Bluetooth 2.0+EDR
- Illuminated keyboard
- Scrolling trackpad
- MagSafe Power Adapter
And all this in a case that is
- Height: 1.0 inch (2.59 cm)
- Width: 14.1 inches (35.7 cm)
- Depth: 9.6 inches (24.3 cm)
The MacBook Pro’s graphics card is powerful enough to power a 30” Display and most projectors. The Core 2 Duo is hugely more powerful than a PowerBook and when I say hugely as in elephant size. The MacBook Pro has so many nice little touches the trackpad actions and the eliminating keyboard. The display is lit by LED to give better battery life and a brighter picture the built in iSight allows you to take photos and be in a conference without having to plug in a webcam. The MacBook Pro has the future under the hood with a N wireless (5X faster than G) card for future proof wireless technology it also come with built in Bluetooth.
And all this for £1,599.00
And soon to have Leopard on it the most powerful and advanced operating system out there with the best collection of media apps on the planet iLife.
What do you think leave a comment and if you can tell me if you would get a glossy or matte display?

Lucky boy – wish I had one!
