I was reading my RSS feed as usual, and came across a very cool website. The website is called ipodmechanic.com and they have a very cool feature on there website called the iPod Death clock this calculates the amount of days, hours and second till your iPod will die. To do this you input some very simple data, first you put in the serial number of you iPod, so they can tell when it was made and what model it was I used my iPod Mini 1st Gen they also give you some ones that you can use if you don’t have an iPod. Then you are asked how much you use it and where then if it has being wet or dropped and if you have seen any errors. It then calculates the time you have left till your iPod dies my mini has 54 days left till death which I am not surprised by, it also tells you much of its original battery is left. They have a link for you to add the date of death to you calendar.
