Leopard is Nearly here

As I write this we are 24hours away from Leopard and that means 24 hours from me getting my sexy super duper MacBook Pro. I have 24 hours till I am officially a mac convert. Many reports and reviews of Leopard have gone up but I plan to do mine slightly different with a more user friendly view, such as a setting up time machine and all the other features. I also plan to do some videos/written tutorials of moving to mac the easy way without any of that silly software.

I think Leopard has not got all the BIG cool must have new stuff everyone wants, but is really a cosmetic and underlining annoying things kinda update, if you know what I mean. This has to be Apple most covered OS ever thanks to the “halo effect” and that means more Mac users, but is that good? I don’t think so it make us less special and not the only person with a Mac at work, and it attracts more attention for virus writers. In later blog post I will cover what I think of Leopard and all the inner bits such as Mail.app and if Gmail put IMAP on my account I will set it up with that and see how easy and good the upgrade is to use. The funny thing is that I know more about Mac’s than some of the people that have them that is probably because I am an Apple Fanboy.

In other Apple news did you know that O2 have already started to setup iPhone displays. Well I guess that is all the Apple news over and you know I can’t wait till I get my MacBook Pro and do loads of fun stuff. I already have about 20 iCreate (a mac magazine) CD’s to get content off. See you with my Mac.
