What I can’t wait to use on a Mac

I have just ordered a glossy 15.2″, 160GB, 2.2GHz, MacBook Pro (MBP). Today I am not going to be getting all rowdy about Leopard but I am going to mention it. I want to talk about the all over MBP and what it has to offer.

Back Lit Keyboard: This is one cool feature and looks sexy, plus it is really helpful at night when I am in my bed and need to type something at the moment I have to tilt the screen over to read the keys.

Summarise: This is a little hidden feature in the services menu and looks so cool and I can’t wait to have a reason to use it to shorten something.

Stacks: I love the animation and it could be really helpful.

Quicksilver: This from my experience, is a most useful app to launch an app on your mac and makes it so easy, but I am not sure how much I will use it now we have stacks and spotlight is hugely improved.

Pixelmator: This is my little photo editor of the future, it has all the photo editing features I need. It is super cheap at $59. read my review here.

Mars Edit: At the moment I am still using WLW but when I get my mac I can’t wait to try out Mars Edit and see how it compares, and have a look at many others.

Delicious Library: This looks like a very cool app and I really want to try it. The interface look so swish and they are said to have some stuff in the can for Leopard!

Bootcamp: You have probably heard enough about this, but what I can’t wait to do is put a copy of Linux and maybe a copy of windows Vista Home Basic. I think that’s the one, there are so many I can’t remember.

Glossy: I can’t wait to have a look and take some shots of my glossy screen and see how it fairs up against the sun.
