I believe that the Apple TV is one of the most over looked Apple products on sale. So lets have a look at why.
The Apple TV works seamlessly with any iTunes Library on Mac or PC. It’s the best way to put content from your iTunes over to your TV, and it allows you to play any content that iTunes will accepts, that means HD. It allows you to stream Music or Sync it from up to 5 computers. Now one reason I like it is the startup sequence looks amazing on an HD TV. There have also being a bunch of hacks for it allowing you to do much more with it like RSS this makes it so flexible and because the same UI is used in Frontrow does that mean we can do such cool hacks to Frontrow in Leopard. The only problem is that iTunes doesn’t sell HD video (yet). Apart form this one downside it is a great product. The Apple TV is the missing link for content on you TV.
I’m sorry, Rupert but you need to say more to sell the Apple TV to me. Why should I pay extra money when I can just plug my laptop into the tv? Does the Apple TV offer anything extra that makes it worth the money – otherwise my hard earned stays in my pocket!
