As most of you tech savvy people will know the iPhone was launched in the UK and Germany on November 9th. Over here in the UK I was asleep. The online store came back online at exactly 2 minutes past 6. We have had the iPhone in the UK for over a week now and I have had a chance to have a look last weekend. On the weekend I went down to our local O2 store, from what I have hear the queues where short. So I went into the store and as I arrived there sat on a table labeled iPhone, were 6 docks but only 4 iPhones not sure what happened to the other 2. So I went and had a play with them, I have played with an iPod touch and found the iPhone to have a nicer weight to it and I can see why every one wants the buttons on he side they are really useful.
I was surprised to find that Cheltenham was part of the 30% coverage of the UK edge network which I have to say felt as fast as 3G but the Wi-Fi was much quicker. The only downfall that will stop me from buying one is the 8GB I really want at least 16GB so thats why I will be getting an iPod touch.
Have a look at some photos I took…

The extra two minutes is a little pun (thing) for O2.
