If you read my twitter feed you will know that I have downloaded the Firefox 3 beta because I just did not like the look of Firefox 2 and I knew Firefox 3 would look better. I have to say Firefox 3 for a beta is very stable, it has one little visual gitch which is the file menu appearing twice which I guess can be solved very easily. On the subject of looks all those silly ugly tick boxes and buttons have being replaced with the standard mac os x and because of this it looks so much better. It also seems faster to load and runs generally faster this could just be me? This is a good step forward for Mozilla in the looks aspect. I have not found any great new features in the update that are worth note so really this so far is just a visual update which most apps will be doing so as to stay in look with leopard.
