For Christmas I got the Apple universal dock, many people say it is over priced and you can get the same thing cheaper from someone like logic3 but OPEN YOUR EYES they are UGLY and this is just great it looks good and the only thing on the front is the ir receiver and on the back of the dock is the 30 pin connector and the 3.5mm audio jack. It comes with all the necessary dock adapters.

Why get a dock?

it is really useful if have an iPod that scratches easily because you don’t have to put it down on a surface. it is a lot easier to just put it in the dock than to plug in the cable and it looks neater. if you are playing music through a stereo you don’t have to go up to the iPod to change the song, the dock as an ir receiver and it comes with an Apple remote which as to be the best remote ever.

• easiest way to sync iPod

Cons

• Expensive but it the only good looking dock out there
