Macworld is approaching and all the rumour sites are going crazy as usual coming up with silly statements such as Jay-z and Apple will start a record label when we all know this would not be possible as Apple the record label have the rights to that. More to the point what do I think will appear at Macworld other than Steve Jobs.
Well I know the rumours have been going for the past year but finally the ultra portable 12″ Mac but I think it will have a smaller flash based drive but tat just seems to be what I think. Blu-Ray in the MacPro’s as an option maybe not announced at the show but goes under cover suddenly appearing on the Apple store. We have all seen the video of iPhone 1.1.3 firmware update and that i am pritty sure that it will be announced at Macworld. I bet Steve shows off Apps on your iPhone and iPod Touch and how easy it is to buy then through iTunes 8, Apple would have made a deal with someone like Facebook or some other huge company to make a dedicated app to show off at Macworld. New Displays finally better brighter and with an iSight we have said this for the past 4 Apple events. It is quite likely that there will be a preview of the iPhone 2.0 because of the time it takes to get FCC approval.
If any for these are true it will be big, last year Macworld over shadowed CES but this year they are not on the same date but all people are going to be talking at CES is what going to happen at Macworld and Bill Gates last POWER POINT!!
The only thing I would say is that unless the specs of the MacBook Pros really improves, the prices will need to come down. They probably need to come down anyway. There is such a big hike in prices between the different models that really cannot be justified.
