Recently I have been doing a lot of video and using a lot of opening sequences and most of the supplied one are not that imaginative in iMovie 08. I thought to myself were can I get cool smooth animation, and then I thought Keynote. Keynote could easily be used as an animation builder. Once you start to really get in to video you want nice similar opening sequences and keynote is capable of making a basic but beautiful opening sequence. Keynote is so simple to use all you have to do is implement a couple of build in’s and build out’s and you are done. Keynote has a very handy export to QuickTime feature so all you have to do is export it and then place it in some kind of editing software, such as iMovie ’08. It looks so good it could have been done by a pro, in something like Apple’s Motion. Even a simple shimmer in and out looks good. So I thought that the best way to show you what it can do is to actually show you.

I made this video in 1 hour with some simple build in’s and out’s and 4 slides. It really is so simple and really looks good.

That’s so cool! Where did you get the music?
@Riley it comes as part of garageband it is one of Apples royalty free tunes
Maybe you could actually write HOW you did it, and not just tell us you can. Something like a tutorial. All you’ve really done is told as that you can do some cool stuff with the app.
@Jonathan OK I will do a post like that for next week
