Originally I was not planning to do a part two but I had a question that asked me to explain how I made the video in more depth. In this post I plan to show you more of how I actually made the Keynote and exported it.
To Start I created a slide with a blank red background. On this slide I drew a couple of arrows all with different lengths. That is everything that is on this slide. Then I set the builds to all build at the same time and all take 1 second, so they all finished at the same time. The next step was to get on to the next slide I did this by simply putting in a push slide transition.

On the second slide I drew 4 arrows two vertically pointing down and another vertical pointing up and a fourth pointing horizontally. I then created two text box and typed in some text.

Here we have the build order (left) and as you can see I set everything on auto after the transition and each other. The two vertical arrows pointing down are set to have drop ins and the other lines are also set to drop in with the text but from different sides. I then set the two arrows carrying the text to move out. I finally set for the slide to push as its transition. This is probably one of the most complex slides.
On the third slide I have two arrows that enter as drop ins and drop outs and in between there build ins and outs is a smart build with 4 images, that are set to turntable. I set a shutter as the slide transition.
On the fourth slide I have two images one of the r and one of the rmaspero.com logo. I set the r to be there when the slide appeared and then shrink and move at the same time. Then it was a case of aligning everything. I then set it to fade out and the rmaspero.com to fade in at the same time. For the next step I set the rmaspero.com to scale and finally I set the rmaspero.com to confetti out.
I then went to the file menu and clicked export and set the timings to fixed and to 1 second. I clicked export and added the sound in garage band. This is a bit complicated because it has so many little steps so to help I uploaded a version of the keynote for you to download.

Wow. That is really nice. I prefer iMovie for intros, though…
