So as we all know Apple are having an event on the 9th of September. This event is rumoured to be the release of the new Nano’s and iPod touch’s that seems to happen every year.
Kevin Rose first leaked some images of what the new Nano’s were supposed to look like and the response from most people was they looked good. In my opinion they look ugly compared to the current fatty’s which seem to fit better in my hand than other previous Nano’s.
Another thing to note is that a take down notice that was placed upon all images of the fatty Nano’s and has not been sent to anyone hosting the currently leaked images. This begs the question are these real or fake and I hope they are fake because by god I am not buy a nano that looks like that.
There is also another flaw in the design of the leaked Nano’s, remember the new UI in the current Nano’s. Well that requires a wider screen than what is shown in the leaked images. Will Apple go back to the old UI?
I believe that instead of a major upgrade of all the iPod line there will just be small minor design changes and a few new internal features in the touch so it is more comparable to the iPhone.

Yes I know they are just rotating the screen but does that mean the menu button is changing places? does that mean we will have to hold a Nano sideways all the time to get the new UI? And if so we would have to use two hands.
